What to wear?

Many people are shocked when they find out I don’t wear pants. It is not hard to do this, they sell skirts everywhere. The hard thing is to keep it "modest".

I’m a believer that as a woman I should not dress too provocative or sensual, but that doesn’t mean my outfits have to be boring. Not at all.

"I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes."
1 Timothy 2:9

Modesty: 1. The state or quality of being modest.
2. Reserve or propriety in speech, dress, or behavior.
3. Lack of pretentiousness; simplicity.

Be strong, be faithful. You can be fashionable and modest. You can be stylish and decent. You will be respected and blessed for standing strong on your convictions!
Well..that's it.

Here are a few pictures of my "work-outfits".

Have a blessed day!

Here it is...

I collected from around the house everything with a "fall"

Recordando...

Frustrated

Do you ever feel frustrated and just can't point at the reason? That was me today. All day I've felt frustrated and kind of mad...I didn't know why, even though there are several things worrying me, none are that great to make me feel such frustration.

SO...I decided to list the good things in my life and thank God for what He does in me.

I should be happy for...
- My family.
- My health.
- My job (even though lately I've felt like running out of there.)
- My God. Being able to trust HIM has no price.
- Ruben.
- New goals looking closer than before.
- The country I live in.
- The freedom I have to worship, to go anywhere at anytime.
- My car.
- Having money to put gas.
- My clothes and shoes.
- A roof over my head.
- Food to eat and even chose from.
- A warm bed.
- The hope that I feel in my heart.
- The Joy of the Lord.

And the list can go on and on.

Don't worry about anything. Count your blessings. Leave the rest to HIM.

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD,
and he shall sustain thee..." Psalms 55:2

Creation

When we think about the marvel of creation—how God spoke the universe into existence and formed the earth and everything in it—we think most often of Old Testament accounts.
But it is encouraging to examine the New Testament to see how that part of the Bible refers to creation.
Here is a look at some key passages:
“I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world” (
Matt. 13:35).
God reveals things to us that He had kept secret since before creation.

“Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Matt. 25:34).
Before the earth was created, God knew each of us—and He knew our future.

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world” (Eph. 1:4).
Before the work of creation even began, God was aware of each of His eventual children.

These New Testament verses comfort us with the truth that God’s knowledge of us and His eternal mysteries about us point toward His special creation of mankind as described in Genesis.
We can do nothing but bow in awe before One whose knowledge and creative ability
are eternal in nature and boundless in power.
Creation: New Testament style—still another reason to give God praise!

Each person is a unique expression of God’s loving design.

Those lips...

The writer of Proverbs describes an unwise person as

“one who speaks like the piercings of a sword” (12:18).

Our tongues can be like a multi-bladed Swiss Army knife when it comes

to the variety of ways that we cut and destroy each other.

Unhealthy attitudes of anger, irritation, frustration, and impatience—even disappointment, stress, guilt, and insecurity—all contribute to our damaging speech. And as we cut with our words, we wound and divide friendships and relationships.

It’s no wonder that the infamous list of seven things that are an abomination to the Lord includes anyone who “sows discord among brethren” (Prov. 6:16-19).

How do we stay off that list? For starters, we need to watch what we say. Gossip and slander are out, and words that hurt instead of heal are not welcome. Boasting, lying, and all the rest of the ways we use words to hurt and divide need to be gone as well. In their place, words that extend love and the healing power of forgiveness, mercy, and truth should rule our words and relationships. After all, where would we be if Jesus hadn’t spoken words of forgiving love and grace to us?

So, put the “knife” away and use your words to help and heal.

Our words have the power to build up or tear down.

Today's Hair Style!

So what does your hair look like today?

If your hair is long as mine, it may be looking just as ALWAYS. In a bun.

This is something a friend sent me today.

Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland ,Ohio .

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.

It is the most requested column I've ever written."

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends andparents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what theirjourney is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; Godnever blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one isup to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take nofor an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie.Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, willthis matter?'
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you didor didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'dgrab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come...
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
